One of the most impactful ways you can demonstrate that assets are safe to use is to certify them. Certification tells your organization that the analytics team stands behind the asset, and will support it.

To start, we recommend picking 5-10 assets to certify.

Which assets should be certified?

With the rise of self-service analytics, and the increasing strategic import of analytics teams, asset certification has become a best practice. The act of certification generally means that the analytics team stands behind an assets, it is properly maintained and tested, and should be trusted by business users.

How do I certify an asset?

Certification is straightforward, and can be done pretty much anywhere you can interact with an asset. Assets can be certified directly from the your knowledge repository, by clicking the certify checkmark on the asset's card. A blue checkmark indicates an asset that has already been certified.

When you have clicked to view the embedded asset, the "Certify" button is at the top of the page.

And finally, you can use the Concierge browser extension while viewing any asset to easily certify it directly from your native application.
